What’s been happening:

Hi! Married fellow Penn Stater Scott Gardiner ('83 Business/Phi Psi/soccer). We live in Charlottesville, VA, and have three kids (son in college and 2 daughters in high school). I'm a writer, had my first novel published last year (Sleeping with Ward Cleaver, see cover shot) and my humorous memoir, Parrothood: Twenty Years of Caring for a Vengeful Bird Determined to Kill Me is coming out in hardback in spring 2010 with Simon & Schuster's Simon Spotlight Entertainment. I also have a column of humorous essays that runs in our local newspaper, and my work has run in Ladies Home Journal, the Washington Post, NPR's Day to Day, and many regional publications.
